What a disappointment for fans of Talisker 10. While you'd expect this to be something like the younger bottling, with lots of smokiness, it appears the extra aging has rounded the corners a bit too much and left this with little-to-none. There are hints of lemon, apple and other sweet fruit. This would be best described as mellow. If you want a neutered and expensive Talisker 10, this is a good bottle for you.
